The Untold History of Black and Asian Solidarity

In honor of May being AAPI Heritage Month, we explore the history of solidarity between African-American and Asian-American communities.  We begin with a look at the model minority myth and how it has been used against Black communities. We also look at the solidarity between both communities beginning in the 1940s. This episode also digs into the tension between the two communities and the role white supremacy has played.  Story ideas?
